Anita Davis McAllister is a resident of the Bay Area. She was born in Detroit Michigan, and at the age of 9 she and her mother moved to California. Anita was raised by a single mother who was very strict in the way she raised her. The morals that Anita’s mom instilled in her to become the woman that she is today Anita also instilled into her children. Anita has four children and three grandchildren. Anita was also a single parent and family means a lot to her. Her children are a gift from God and she loves them with her whole heart. Anita has been married for 10 years. She has worked in the childcare field for over 20 years and enjoys every minute of it. She also has worked in the healthcare field as an in-home caretaker for over 10 years. Anita feels that God has placed the gift of writing in her, and she is in the process of launching a prayer book in July of 2017. Anita started Spoken Word Ministry in 2014 and the main focus is bringing people to God and saving souls. In January 2017, Anita became an author and is featured in Breaking Through Barriers Vol 2. Anita also has a desire to help people. Recently she joined a group called Bridge Watch Angels whose mission is to prevent people from committing suicide at Golden Gate Bridge. She feels that with a spoken word from God she can help someone in distress. Anita also aspires to start a ministry to help the homeless in her community and beyond. Through her books, ministry group, and public speaking, Anita hopes to inspire others to take charge of their lives and follow their dreams.
