Keisha Frowner Bio:

 

Keisha Frowner was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in Oakland, CA. She is the first born of her siblings and a single mother of two beautiful daughters, Lorenna and Charlene. Keisha is currently a preschool teacher and finds joy in making a difference in a child’s life. Growing up in Oakland, she was exposed to seeing drug dealings and gang activity within her neighborhood. Going to church and playing basketball helped Keisha stay focused and at a young age she learned the importance of having a good work ethic. Keisha graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland, CA, and went on to attend a community college. After being in college for a year and a half, Keisha found out that she was pregnant and was forced to leave school to take care of her child. After having both of her children, Keisha went back to school and received her A.A. degree. She graduated from Diablo Valley College, where she studied Early Childhood Development. Although Keisha suffered an abusive relationship and lived in transitional housing, she was able to persevere and create a better life for her and her family. Keisha wants to inspire other women to never let go of their dreams and to finish what they start.
