Keisha Frowner was born in Los Angeles, Ca and raised in Oakland, Ca. Keisha is also an author, educator, and inspiring speaker. Growing up in Oakland, she was exposed to many things such as drug and gang activity within her neighborhood. Staying active in church and playing basketball helped Keisha stay focused. At a young age, she learned the importance of having a good work ethic. Keisha graduated from Fremont High school in Oakland, Ca and went on to attend a community college. After completing her first year of college, Keisha found out that she was pregnant and was forced to leave school to take care of her child. After having both of her daughters and becoming a single mother, Keisha went back to school and received her A.A. degree at Diablo Valley College.  Even though she faced adversity being a single mother of 2 beautiful daughters, she never gave up despite her circumstances. She may have endured domestic violence and lived in transitional housing, but Keisha never allowed anything to stop her. Keisha pushed through all setbacks in life. She was able to persevere and create a better life for her and her daughters. She always had a dream of becoming an author and in July 2016 that dream came a reality. She is a featured author in "Breaking through Barriers" Volume 1 book and she was a speaker at the book launch.  Keisha is currently working on her 1st solo book set to release late 2017. Through her sharing her testimony, her books, and future speaking, Keisha wants to inspire others to never let go of their dreams and to finish what they start. Keisha credits her two beautiful daughters Lorenna and Charlene, for being her motivation to persevere in life.
