Chapter Title: “She Overcame & Conquered”

Jocelyn Ja’Net is a two-time author, makeup artist, philanthropist and freelance media host. She has a determination to succeed towards fulfilling every piece of her passion. From the outside looking in, it looked like her future was bleak. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She later moved to Pittsburg, California. As a young girl, Jocelyn endured sexual assault at six years old. She was ten years old when it all came to an end. The abuse led her down a devastating path. However, Jocelyn didn’t let this adversity cause her to give up. Instead, she used it to fuel herself for greatness.

Jocelyn is now leading survivors towards freedom. She is the CEO/Founder of Sisters with Stories. They share stories while standing on Revelations 12:11. Others have started to back her cause too, including Felicia Guimont, Southern Best Catering, Trent Shelton, WFAA reporter Rebecca Lopez, and Jesse Holley. She was featured as a Pat Smith’s Second Chance Story, and a 10 Shades of Success Honoree 2017.

Her interviews include: Bishop Richard E. Young, Senior Pastor of The Chosen Vessel Cathedral Church, NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, Gospel Artists Kirk & Tammy Franklin, Pastor Dave Hollister, Actress (Bay Area) Brely Evans, Curls Organic Hair Products C.E.O Mahisha Dellinger, Southern Dallas Magazine C.E.O James Thomas, Women Called Moses Founder/President Debra Nixion-Bowles, and Entrepreneur Extraordinaire Anita Hawkins, just to name a few.

She enjoys feeding the homeless in Dallas Fort Worth and serving in the Bay Area Community.
